Product Description
A World War Two 1940's ladies handkerchief made from green rayon and trimmed with cotton lace with the Royal Corps of Signals emblem (pre 1946 design) sewn on it.
I have seen other handkerchiefs like this for other military groups like the Navy, etc but this is the first one I have seen with a little powder puff sewn at the corner. They were given by men in the military during the war, to their sweethearts, wives or mothers.
In very good condition with some age spotting but still beautiful and displayable.
Measures approx. 11" x 11".
