A c. 1960 summer ensemble consisting of a fitted hourglass shaped dress with matching jacket and belt all made from a olive green and brown printed floral silk.
The dress is lined in dark peach taffeta and fastens at the left side with a metal zipper. Looks to be a home made set but very well made.
The outfit is in very good- excellent condition with very little wear. It does not appear to have been worn very much.
A small- medium size. Bust measures 38 1/2" (will fit a 36" bust but you will need a bullet bra as the bust darts are quite high), underbust/rib measures 31 3/4", waist measures 29 1/2", hips measure 40" (will fit hips of 36"- 38"), length from shoulder to waist seam is 16", length from shoulder to hem is 42".
Jacket is proportioned to fit over the dress but measures 16" in the shoulders and 17 1/2" long from the nape of the neck to hem.
