A classy early 1960's hourglass shaped fitted slip with scalloped edges by Barbizon made from black Tafredda.

It has grosgain ribbon shoulder straps with metal fittings (ribbon has faded to a soft black color over the years) and fastens at the left side with a nylon zipper. The inside of the bust area is lined in black rayon crepe.

The slip is in very good condition with very little wear. Some of the fabric has come away from the seam at the zipper edge but this does not affect the zipper or the wearing of the slip, purely aesthetic. I also just noticed some a small area on the right front tight that has some scratching to the fabric, very light and fine so not noticeable when worn. Has been washed and is clean. Fabric is lovely and swishy sounding!

Stamped as a size 18. This slip was part of my own personal vintage clothing collection and fit me when my bust was 40". Bust measures approx. 43" (will fit a 40" bust), underbust measures 36", waist measures 34" (will fit a 30"- 31" waist), hips measure 42" (will fit hips of 38"- 40"), length is approx. 41".
