A late 1950's princess seamed party dress made from crisp blue
taffeta with stripes of black velvet woven in, speckled with
multicolored sparkles.

The dress has a wide lapel and a false button front. The inside
of the dress is partially lined blue nylon at the neckline and
fastens at the back with a metal zipper. The skirt is full and can
be worn with a full crinoline (I have a full square dancing one underneath it, not included)
or be worn with a slimmer petticoat for a different look. No makers label.

It is in good- very good wearable condition with no underarm damage or shattering to the taffeta.
The only faults are some small moth holes in the skirt (if you hold the skirt fabric up to the light, see photo three for an example)
and a 1 1/2" x 3/8" L shaped tear at the right side of the skirt towards the hem. The skirt is so full that
it gets lost in the fabric and was probably caused by the original owner brushing up against something with her
full crinolined skirt! It can be worn as is (be careful you don't brush up against something!) or the L shaped
tear can be backed with some fabric to help stabilize it.

Shoulders are hard to measure as they are raglan in style but this would suit up to 15 1/2" shoulders,
Bust measures 38" (will fit a size 36" bust), ribcage/underbust measures 33" (will fit 32" and under), waist measures approx. 30"
(will fit a 28" waist), His are full, length from shoulder to hem is 44 1/2".
