Product Description
A classy late 1950's- early 1960's fitted hourglass shaped cocktail dress made from black ribbed silk (Bengalene) with a gathered hip/waistline and accented with a bow at waist level.
It looks to be a homemade but VERY well made item and fastens at the left side with a metal zipper.
The dress is in excellent condition and does not appear to have been worn very much, if at all.
A medium size. Bust measures 40" but will fit a 38" bust (you will need a bullet bra as the bust darts are quite high). Underbust/rib measures 32", Waist measures approx. 31", Hips measure 40" (will fit 36"- 38" hips), length from shoulder to hem is 42".
