A stunning late 1940's summer dress ensemble from Canada by Modern Classics. The ensemble is made from burnt orange printed cotton with a paisley and flower design on it.
The dress has a gathered bust and a high bust seam. It fastens at the side with a metal zipper.
The set is in very good condition with light wear. The jacket has a grey mark and slight fading to the top of the right shoulder and the dress has been let out at the side bodice seams to make it bigger by the original owner. No staining or fading to the underarms but the fabric has very very light soiling to this area from light use.

Bust measures 38" (will fit a 36" bust), underbust measures 34", waist measures 32 1/4", Hips are very full but would suit hips up to 40", Bodice length is approx. 17", dress length is approx. 43".
Jacket is proportioned to fit over the dress and is approx. 16" long.
