An early 1920's ladies swimming costume made from dark navy cotton by Meridian for Robinson & Co. LTD. Outfitters, Singapore.
It fastens at the left shoulders with buttons and has a low skirt with hidden attached shorts.
The bathing suit is in very good- excellent condition (no moth holes), the only fault being that there is a 1/4" portion of seam which has come unstitched underneath the right underarm. It is not torn but just the stitching has become undone.
The swim suit is still in strong displayable condition or can be worn (not for swimming!) for a photo shoot or fashion show.
Shoulders measure 17", Bust measures 36" but can stretch to 38" (will suit a 34"- 36" bust), Waist measures 34", Hips measure 38" (will fit hips up to 36"), Length from shoulders to leg cuff is 38".
