Quick Overview

A rare pair of c. 1900 early Edwardian high bicycling boots made from supple brown leather with the original shoe laces.

Product Description

A rare pair of c. 1900 early Edwardian high bicycling boots made from supple brown leather with the original shoe laces. They have stacked leather Louis heels and punched toe caps.

The boots are in very good condition for their age with general scuffs/ marks from normal use, the only fault being the mottling to the leather around the foot area from use and age. There is a 1/4" gouge mark on the inside of each stacked heel sole (looks like a rat gnawed on these briefly but it is small and does not detract from the look of the boots or if you wanted to wear them. The soles have wear but are not worn out. The leather is not dry and has a nice patina to it.

A small size, approx. a UK 4 (US 6) NARROW. Please use measurements as a guide. Outside sole length is 10", sole width is 3", heel height is 2", boot height from top of heel to top of boot is 14 3/4", inside calf measurement is 12".
