A very early 1960's hourglass shaped wiggle day dress outfit by Blanes made from a navy blue and white woven jersey which feels like it has rayon content due to it's slinkyness.
The dress is princess seamed with a high bustline and fastens at the back with a metal zipper. Not lined for summer wearing. The jacket is accented with soustache trim at the edges.
The outfit is in very good condition with only a VERY VERY light brown spot near the top button on the jacket. No yellowing to the underarms.
Dress bust measures 39" (will fit a 36"-37" bust), High waist seam (rib) measures 34", waist measures 30" (will fit a 26"-28" waist), Hips measure 40" (will fit 36"-38" hips). Length from shoulder to hem is 39".
Jacket is proportioned to fit over the dress and is approx. 16" across the shoulders and 17" long from shoulder to hem.
