A very early 1930's skull cap style hat which was fashionable during the early part of the decade (this style evolved from the cloche hats of the 1920's) made from dark wine colored taffeta with gold polka dots woven into it. It is lined in wine taffeta with a matching grosgrain ribbon hatband inside.

The hat is in very good- excellent condition with only a teeny tiny little wear spot (about 1/8") near the bottom of the right side "swag" which hangs down (does not detract from the hat and would not be noticeable when worn).

Hat measures approx. 12" across, approx. 4" high and 22" around the inside hat band.
