Product Description
A stunning late 1950's handbag made from two toned crocodile skin with brown leather trim. The inside is lined in brown leather with an internal slip pocket and a brass zippered pocket. the edges of the pockets are trimmed with gold leather vinyl.
The bag has a gold colored metal frame and clasp with parts of it covered in crocodile skin. Frame is stampe S.G.P. Handle is croc and brown leather.
The bag is in excellent condition, does not appear to have ever been used. No cracking to the croc or leather. The only fault being that the croc skin has separated at the seam a little bit exposing the underlining on one side (see photo), not sure if this is from age or a manufacturing fault. The vinyl trim on the zipper pocket has spilt in the middle and there is some darkening to the leather which runs alongside the zip. A stunning bag and one that I am tempted to keep!
Measures 10 1/2" long at the bottom, 2" deep, 6" high, handle is approx. 4" high.
