A pretty c. 1912- 1915 Edwardian white cotton summer dress which was made to fit a tall lady. It has a high fold down collar and fastens at the bodice with snaps (the buttons are for decoration).

The dress is in good wearable condition and would suit a re-enactor. There is very light yellow spotting throughout the dress which I did not notice when I was taking the photos, only up close when I was measuring it. There are also some tiny brown age spots on the right shoulder. I also found a few small little moth holes (some on the left shoulder amongst other places) when you hold the fabric up to the light. These faults do not detract from the dress and would still be lovely to wear or display.

A tall size, my dressform was set at 5'10" and the length was perfect on it (this dress would have been worn at ankle length). I am 5'9" and it's long enough for me too!

Shoulders measure 17", Bust measures 46" (this was meant to be worn pouched so a bust of 36"/38" would suit this), waist measures 24", Hips measure 40", Sleeve length is 24", Bodice length from shoulder to waist seam is 15", length from shoulder to hem is 56".
