Product Description
An Edwardian era (c. 1901) corset vest for a little toddler aged boy made from white coutil with strips of coutil for extra support. Fastens with milk glass buttons and has side clamps for attaching long sock garters.
The Victorian and Edwardians thought that growing children needed body support to make their spines grow straight. Boys generally wore these until they were old enough to be "breeched" and then girls would continue on with wearing a boned corset.
Corset is in excellent unworn condition. I have two of these exactly the same, price is PER corset.
Length is 13 3/4", Chest /waist measures approx. 19".
