Product Description
An early 1920's homemade handbag made from black antique cut velvet (looks like someone raided their attic and cut up a relative's 1880's bustle dress!) and sewn onto a "ivory" patterned celluloid frame which were all the rage then. There is a small 1" high ivory carved elephant charm sewn onto the front of the bag.
The bag is in fair- good displayable condition but there is wear to the fabric where it is sewn onto the clasp.
Measures approx. 9" high (not including the 7 1/2" velvet handle) and approx. 10" wide.
