Product Description
late 1920's longline bust flattening bandeau bra by A.P. Brassiere Directoire (this company first patented their bras in 1906) with two long elastic metal clipped stocking suspenders attached at the back! The bra is made from light pink lace and lined in pink silk satin. It fastens at the back with hooks and has ribbon shoulder straps along with a busk hook at the front.
The bra is in excellent condition with very little wear. Bust measures 38" unstretched but can stretch to just over 42". It does have a stamp of 42 which usually denotes the bust size it will fit so would do a good job of flattening down a 42" bust! Waist measures 35 1/2" but can stretch to 39". Length approx. 10".
