A stunning mid 1960's evening bag by the famous Canadian jeweler, Birk's, made from a silver lame fabric with a clear glass rhinestone studded clasp and chain handle. The inside is lined in ivory satin and has the Birk's stamp on it.
The bag is in very good- excellent condition with only some light wear to the silver finish on the clasp and one of the stones is loose on the flip clasp but is still held on with the original wiring. All the stones are present. This was not used very much as it was owned by my aunt's mother in law.
Measures approx. 9" wide, 6" high (not including the 4" high chain handle).
