A late 1940's, New Look era hat by Lady Cavendish made from black corde-style cording arranged in two round leaf like pattern. It is trimmed with a black feather coming out of a rhinestone spotted black velvet decoration and a spotted veil. The front of the veil is attached to the hat but the ends tuck into your hairstyle or the hat.
The hat is in good condition and can be worn but the black feather has bent in a couple of places over the years. It can be displayed as is but would look nicer if it was to be worn if the feather was replaced.
Measures approx. 11" across.
