A 1940's Barbizon "Gibson" bed jacket from America made from tearose pink rayon trimmed with ribbon and netting. there is a small pocket on the right front side.
The bed jacket is in good wearable condition but does have light wear from use and age. There is the odd pinhead sized moth hole and an old iron on repair to a fray hole on the right shoulder. Still a very pretty looking bed jacket!
Labeled as being a size 38 (bust) which is true to modern sizing as my bust is 38" and this fits me perfectly. Shoulders measure 17 1/2", Length from shoulder to hem is 19 1/2", 3/4 sleeve length is 18".
