A early- mid 1950's bold patterned dress with a pleated bust made from black and red satin striped fabric. The dress fastens at the left side with a metal zipper and is not lined. Belt is for display and is not included with the dress.
The dress is in good wearable condition and would make for a stunning outfit! There are a few faults however. There are some small moth holes at the bottom from of the skirt (see photo two) but these could be camouflaged by wearing a black petticoat underneath. I took photos of the holes against a whiet background in order to show them clearly. There is also the odd mark here and there on the dress from use and age and a black mark under the right underarm (see photo three). Shoulders measure approx. 19" (end to end), Bust measures 38" (will fit a 34"- 36" bust), Waist measures 30" (will fit a 28" waist), Hips measure 40" (will fit 36" hips). Bodice length from shoulder to waist seam is 16", Dress length is approx. 47".
