A c. 1908- 1910 Edwardian one piece wedding dress made from ivory colored bengalene with wax fruits and fabric leaves at the shoulders and clear glass seed beads on the bodice and sleeve cuffs. The dress is lined in white cotton with the bodice being boned. The boned high necked collar, yoke and sleeves cuffs are made from white chiffon. The back of the dress fastens with hooks and eyes.
The dress is in fair condition and is too fragile to be worn as the bengalene is splitting at at the front of the skirt and at the sides of the sleeves. The chiffon also has holes and rips in it as well. Can be displayed or used as a study piece.
