A late 1940's full pleated skirt of American origin made from a light metallic brown basket weave patterned cotton sateen with a button down front. The skirt is in good wearable condition with some light wear from use and age. I just found a small 1/4" moth hole at the front of the skirt towards the right side which is hidden in the folds and a small water mark (see photo two) near the second to last button.
Waist measures 29" but you can see on the inside of the waistband that the original owner moved it over from a 31" waist. There is plenty fabric to push the buttons over to make the skirt 2" bigger to it's original size. Hips are full but will suit hips of up to 40"/41", Length is 27 1/2".
