A late Victorian- turn of the century watchspring corset box from Strouse Adler & Co. with an image of two late 1880's ladies in a corset shop! The box has patent dates of 1887 and the ladies are wearing late 1880's fashions in the picture, but the model sticker on the box says "straight front" which leads me to believe that the manufacturer was using old or left over boxes for their new lines.
The box is in good condition but does have some creases and splitting to areas but still displayable. Measures 16 1/2" x 3" x 2 3/4".
