A rare unused roll of 1880's skirt hem binding tape made from a burnt orange/burgundy colored wool by Star Braid. Has a patent date of 1878 and 1880. The end of the tape which is left out, has moth damage but the packaging is still in good displayable condition. Measures approx. 2 1/8" across.
