A mid 1930's long bias cut slip by Miss Elaine Originals made from Tearose pink cotton (may have rayon content as it's smooth and slinky) with a damask type leaf pattern woven into it.
The slip is in good- very good wearable and displayable condition. There is some moth damage present (see photo three for an example of the holes). A few small holes (about 1/4" in size or less) can be found on the right bust cup, a small hole under the right underarm, a few pin head sized ones at the left front side of the waist and a few 1/4" sized ones going towards the bottom front of the skirt. I also found a small VERY light brown 3/8" spot on the left front side of the skirt (it's VERY faint). No underarm stains or rips.
Bust measures 40" but since this is cut on the bias, it will suit a 36"- 38" bust, Waist measures 32" (will fit a 28"- 30" waist), Hips measure approx. 42" (will fit 36"- 38" hips). Length from shoulder to hem is 59 1/2" but please note that bias cut items end up a bit shorter once they are on the body. I am 5'9" with a 38" bust, 30" waist and 38" hips and the slip hem ends up just below my calf.
