A SUPER FULL vintage 1950's crinoline petticoat made from ruffled tiered layers of stiff open weave nylon netting in white, mint green, baby blue, yellow and pink! The waist is elasticated with a cotton backing.
The petticoat is in very good wearable condition but I found some tears (ranging in size from 2"- 4") in two portions of the pink netting near the hem as well as one portion of the green netting near the hem. There is also a 6" chunk of green netting cut off from the bottom tier at the hem. These sound worse than it looks and I did not notice these faults until I spread the crinoline out on the floor and went through all the ruffles. The skirt is SO FULL that none of these imperfections show. It is strong enough to be worn with your widest circle skirt!
Unstretched waist measures 29" but can stretch to 42". Length is 19".
