A 1940's evening purse of American origin made from white cotton with a white acetate taffeta lining and closes with a white cord drawstring. The outside of the purse is covered in white glass seed beads along with silver colored glass tube beads arranged in a floral pattern. May be a homemade item.
The purse is in good displayable and usable condition but does have some wear due to use and age. There is some light brown age spotting around the bottom edge of the purse and the silver inside the tube beads has worn away. The purse is still attractive and would set off a period outfit nicely!
Bag measures approx. 6" high (not including drawstring handle) and approx. 5" wide.
