A pair of c. 1900 ladies white kidskin gloves by Army & Navy with three narrow bands of black soustache cord on each hand and shell buttons at the wrists. Army & Navy was a shop in London, the history of which can be read in this Wikipedia article.
The gloves appear to have very little use as there is only some light wear from being worn once or twice. There is a small period darn near the seam between the right index and middle fingers. They are too narrow to be worn today but would make a lovely display with a period outfit.
Marked as a 7 1/2 but not wearable due to size and age (I am a 7 1/2 and these come nowhere close to fitting me!), measurements are for reference only. Palm measures 2 3/4", Length from wrist to middle finger is 10 1/8".
