A pair of late 1870's- very early 1880's white kidskin evening shoes with straight lasts and Louis heels. They have kidskin bows on the vamps and were made before metal shanks were used to strengthen the arch of the shoes became the norm during shoe manufacturing in the 1880's.
The shoes are in good displayable condition but do have wear from use and age. There are some scuffs to the toes and the leather covering the heels have dried with age and flaked off in areas. No wearable due to age but strong enough for display!
Sole measures 9" long and 2 1/2" wide.
