An early 1930's button side corset (real pink glass buttons) made from Tearose pink cotton coutil which is New-Old stock from a long defunct shop in Belgium. It has four metal clipped stocking suspenders and comes with it's original corset lace.
the corset is in good strong wearable condition but the elastic on the suspenders have lost their stretch from age. They still can be worn as is or can be replaced. There is also some rust or yellow colored age spotting which is typical of old cotton.
The corset comes with a period Simonette corset box (end panel has broken off but still remains with the box). I am not sure if the box is original to the corset or not as there is no brand stamped in the corset and the size is not the same. All the NOS Belgian corsets were from the same original shop though so boxes may have gotten mixed up along the way.
Marked as a Euro size 74, waist measures 30", hips measure approx. 382- 39". Front length is 12", back length is 16".
