A late 1940's- early 1950's side fastening boned corset from Belgium made from Tearose Pink coutil with a V shaped pink satin front panel. the corset laces up the back and has 4 frilled elastic stocking suspenders. The inside bone casings are strengthened at the ends with leather patches.
This corset is New-Old stock and has never been worn but there is some light yellow age spotting which is typical of old cotton and the elastic suspenders have lost their stretch over the years. The corset is still strong enough to be worn and the suspenders can be left as is of replaced. The rubber buttons on the stocking clips have been professionally replaced with new ones as the old ones were too brittle to be used. The corset comes with it's original Amazone bag and original corset lace.
Marked as a Euro size 62, fully closed measurements are: Waist 24", Hips 34", Front length is approx. 11 1/2", Back length is 15".
