A late 1950's pink chiffon evening dress with a matching bolero to turn it into a day dress. The dress fastens at the back with a metal zipper and is lined in pink nylon, the jacket fastens with buttons and is lined in the same nylon as well. The skirt is full enough to accommodate a crinoline petticoat and has a layer of netting built in as well.
The outfit is in good wearable condition. There are some little pulls in the fabric of the skirt as well as some very light brown age spots at the left back hip but all these get lost within the fullness of the skirt. The pink nylon lining on the dress and jacket has some faint fading to the underarms turning it pinky white (NOT yellow!) but this is not noticeable through the pink chiffon.
Dress measurements: Shoulders measure 14 1/2" (will fit shoulders up to 15 1/2"), Bust measures 36" (will fit a 34" bust), Waist measures 25" (will fit a waist of 24"), Hips are free but will fit hips up to 36", Bodice length from shoulder to waist is 15", Dress length is 38".
Bolero jacket measures approx. 16" in the shoulders, bust measures approx. 36", Length is 13".
