A early 1960's black velvet top made by Joanna Norman. It is lined in black nylon and fastens at the back with a metal zipper.
The top is in very good wearable condition with only a small 1/4" rub spot at the side of the right bust near the side seam (wouldn't be noticeable when worn). There is also some wear to the waist "kick pleat" at the seam but again, this would not be noticeable when worn.
The top is approx. a medium/large size. I am 5'9" and a UK size 12/14 (US 10/12) and this fits me well. Shoulders measure 15" but can fit shoulders of 16"- 16 1/2", Bust measures 40" (will fit a 38" bust), Waist measures 36" (will fit a waist up to 30"/32"), Length from shoulder to hem is 20".
