A very early 1960's two piece brown tweed skirt suit in excellent wearable condition. The jacket is fitted at the front with darts but is slightly boxy in cut. It is lined in orange nylon and fastens at the front with plastic buttons. the slim fitting pencil style skirt is not lined and fastens at the side with a metal zipper.
The suit is a small- medium size despite the boxiness of the jacket (it was meant to be loose fitting). The skirt waist measures 27", Hips measure 39" (will fit 36"- 37" hips), Skirt length is 21 1/2".
Jacket shoulders measure 17" (will fit shoulders of 15"- 16 1/2"), Bust measures approx. 38" (will fit a 36" bust), Waist measures approx. 36" (meant to be worn loose), Jacket length is approx. 22". Sleeve length is approx. 20".
