An early 1960's Chinese style blue satin dress, very similar to what you see on cheongsam dresses of the era. This evening dress is is fitted at the bodice with darts and has a flattering pleated front skirt to show off an hourglass figure. The dress fastens up the back with a nylon zipper.
The dress is in excellent condition with only the slightest of dark discoloration to the right underarm but which would not be noticeable when worn as it is so slight. There are also a few tiny catches in the satin but again, these wouldn't be noticeable when worn due to the pattern of the fabric.
I am 5'9" and this dress is a good length for a tall height. Measurements: Shoulders measure 15 1/2" (will fit 16"- 16 1/2" shoulders), Bust measures 41" but my bust is 40" and this is fine on me. Will fit a 38"- 40" bust. Waist measures 32" (will fit a 30"- 31" waist), Hips measure 42" (will fit 40" hips), Bodice length from shoulder to waist is 17", Entire dress length from shoulder to hem is 42".
